Propagators Must be able to Engage with Society: E. Sulaiman Musliyar

Kozhikode: E. Sulaiman Musliyar, President of Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama, underscored the vitality of Propagators’ ability in actively engaging with society while equipping themselves with the requisite knowledge and communication skills.

Speaking at the Khatmul Bukhari Ceremony, he emphasized that alongside attaining profound Islamic scholarship, propagators should also strive for academic excellence and linguistic proficiency.
The Khatmul Bukhari ceremony marks the completion of the Sahih al-Bukhari Dars for students who have completed their ten-year course, and are transitioning into the field of service.

Organized annually with meticulous preparations, this year’s event took place at the Bukhari Campus and was inaugurated by Dr. Hussain Saqafi Chullikkod, Chairman of the Kerala Hajj Committee.

The ceremony was attended by prominent scholars and dignitaries, including Bukhari Da’wa College Principal Abu Hanifal Faizy Thennala, Abdul Naswir Ahsani Olavattur, Abdulla Ahsani Chengani, Sayyid Shihabudheen Hydroosi Chirayil, Miqdad Baqavi Chungathara, Hamsa Ahsani Thennala, Beeran Kutty Musliyar Muthuvallur, Khalid Ahsani Feroke, Abdul Azeez Saqafi Muthedam, Shamsudheen Haji, Abdul Hakkeem Haji, Rayinkutty Haji, and Abdul Nasar Anakkayam.

Bukhari Muthawwal Students Uphold Tradition at Ponnani’s Iconic Wick Lamp

Kondotty: Continuing a time-honored tradition, the graduating Muthawwal students of Bukhari Da’wa College gathered around the revered wick oil lamp at Ponnani, marking the culmination of their traditional Darsee studies.

For generations, religious scholars have made their way to Ponnani to sit before the historic oil lamp inside the mosque—an enduring symbol of academic completion in Islamic scholarship. This year’s ceremony was conducted as part of this deeply rooted custom.

The event was presided over by Bukhari Da’wa College Principal Abu Hanifal Faizi Thenala, with the presence of prominent scholars, including Khalid Ahsani Farooq, Abdul Aziz Sakhafi Moothedam, Abdul Malik Ahsani Karathode, Abdul Rasheed Bukhari Puliyakode, Abdulla Bukhari Kuzhinjolam, and Abdul Jaleel Falili Chirayil.

Student Activism Vital for Educational Progress: Sabic Annual Council

Kondotty: The Sabic Annual Council of the Bukhari Da’wa College Student Union underscored the critical role of student activism. The council emphasized that transformative advancements in the integrated education sector have been largely facilitated by proactive student organizations.

The council also highlighted the necessity of innovative ideas to promote academic progress. The event was presided over by Mikhdad Bakhavi Chungathara and inaugurated by Abu Hanifal Faizi Thenala, General Secretary of Bukhari Institutions.

Other key attendees included Abdul Rauf Jouhari Alparamb, Abdul Malik Ahsani Karathode, Abdul Rasheed Bukhari Puliyakode, and Swadiq Ali Bukhari Kolappuram.

New student leadership team was announced at the event: Suhail Kodasseri (Ameer), Afzal Chirayil (President), Hafil Ashiq Cherumuttam (General Secretary), Hafil Ajmal Qasim Chokli (Finance Secretary), Razi Karakkunnu (Cabinet Secretary), Mujtaba C T, and Sinan C A (Vice Presidents).

Other committee members included Jasir Vallikunnu, Ameer Kavanoor, Abdurahman Vadakkangara, Jabir Kollam (Secretaries), Raees Kizhisheri, Nafih Kakkadampuram, and Hafil Raees Hasan Farooki (Secretariat Members).
